When you submit an inquiry through our mentoring intake form, we collect information across several categories:

• Names of students, parents or guardians, and adult team contacts
• Email addresses and optional phone numbers
• School grade levels and optional Discord usernames
• FIRST Tech Challenge team identifiers (team name and number), when applicable
• Free-text answers describing your background, goals, questions, and guidance focus areas

Form submissions are received by Formspree, a third-party form service, which stores them in its own system under its own policies and forwards each submission to the team's email inbox. We do not run a database of our own.

This website uses Vercel Web Analytics and Google Analytics 4 to count visits and form submissions. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect traffic data across sessions.

Google offers an opt-out browser add-on for sites that use Google Analytics at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout, and standard browser cookie controls can also be used to block or manage cookies.

What you type into the form is never sent to analytics. When a form is submitted, our analytics records only that a submission happened, with no form content. Analytics tools do automatically collect standard browsing information, such as pages visited, device and browser type, and approximate location.
