Who We Are
Hello! We an FTC Robotics team called "I.F. Robotics" also known as "I Forgot". We are small community team located in Vancouver, Washington. Founded in 2022, I.F. Robotics was designed to be a team that was focused on being student-led rather than mentor-built as well as a state-level competitive team in a region of WA isn't as competitive. The Name (explained)
Our name "I Forgot" came about as a joke. It's fun when people ask what our team name is and we get to say "I Forgot" and they are so confused. Our goal is to be a competitive team while still having fun and not being totally serious. This name also has a deeper meaning, because everyone forgets and mistakes and that's okay. A lot of teams in the community will also refer to us as IF or use our number 21336 instead of the word forgot when they forget something.
What is FIRST?
"FIRST® (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) is a robotics community that prepares young people for the future through a suite of inclusive, team-based robotics programs for ages 4-18 (Pre K-12) that can be facilitated in school or in structured after school programs.
