We delivered a meal to our local Safe Stay Community, a homeless shelter!  

Columbia /Okura Tour

December 18th, 2023

One of our sponsors, Columbia/Okura, offered us a tour of their big robots. We even brought along a student from our summer robotics camp and a student from FRC 2811 StormBots!

Gifts of the Magi

December 16th, 2023

Gifts of the Magi is an event at our local food pantry where kids pick out presents for their parents. We brought our STEM community there. Kids were able to drive a robot and win a 3-D print. We also demoed our competition robot and handed our 3-D printed pots.

Scrimmage in Seattle

We scrimmaged with Escape Velocity 14343 and Titanium Talons 11970! 

Rob's Machine Shop

October 14th, 2023

Our mechanical lead met Rob at Shur-Way while picking up plywood. Rob, curious about the purchase, learned that it was for the robotics team. Enthused by the idea, Rob asked for contact information and invited our lead to test the CNC router.

Adidas Maker Lab Tour

August 18th, 2023

Adidas Maker Lab invited us over to take a peek at what they do and the equipment they use. We saw their huge 3-D printer,  heavy-duty sewing machines, and many of their prototypes. We had a wonderful time and even showed off our robot.

WSU ME Tour

August 11th, 2023

Professor Tan, from Washington State University, showed us around their Mechanical Engineering Building. 

Clark County Fair

August 5th, 2023

We joined with 4-H Robotics at the Clark County Fair in showing off all of our robots and spreading the STEAM message to our local community.

Flea Market

July and August, 2023

We went to the Downtown Alley Flea Market twice to fundraise and show off our robot. We had a great time, and our new members got a look into the outreach aspect of robotics.

Summer Robotics Camp

June 28th to August 1st, 2023

We hosted a Summer Robotics Camp for elementary and middle school students. We explored CAD (3-D computer-aided design ) and coding. These students even built their own small robots! 

H.E.L.P. STEM Event

June 24th and July 1st 2023

We teamed up with our local food pantry to set up a few different STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) activities. Many students don't have a lot of access to STEM and Tech, so this gives us an opportunity to introduce other students and our local community to this.
